Nick Sinofsky led the Williston Northampton boys scorss country team to a sweep of the top three spots, as the Wildcats beat Avon Old Farms 23-34 on Saturday.

He won in 17 minutes, 57 seconds.

Oscar DeFrancis was second (18:55), and Nat Markey finished third (19:10).

Boys soccer

Loomis Chaffee 5, Williston 1 — Jake Goodman found the net Saturday in a loss for the Wildcats (2-3-3).

Football

Trinity-Pawling 48, Williston 19 — Henri Bourque, Braden Heald and Christian Anzeveno scored touchdowns Saturday, but the Wildcats (1-3) lost at home.

Girls cross country

Williston 22, Miss Porter’s 39 — Abigail Touhey finished second in 22:10 for the Wildcats in a win Saturday.

Girls soccer

Williston 1, Westminster 0 — Sophie Weed scored the game’s only goal for a Wildcat win Saturday.
