Daniel “Pete” Rogers: Looks forward to John Paradis’ column every month

John Paradis’s recent column, “The results came in, but we’re still searching for answers,” powerfully expressed the traumatic emotional roller coaster ride from depression to hope that I have felt since the election. His metaphor of the falling leaf, gently swaying, perfectly captured my own feelings. I appreciated his naming of his/our fear about our children’s and grandchildren’s future that may not see the humanitarian and ecological progress we pray for our world to come. I look forward to his columns every month. They are ministerial quality without preaching. This one — just a heartfelt plea for the soul of our nation. Thank you, John, for sharing the gift from your heart to your readers.
