Weekend prep schools: Williston boys soccer remains unbeaten, shuts out Millbrook

Northampton’s Nick Heafey scored a goal and added an assist, as the Williston Northampton boys soccer team remained unbeaten with a 5-0 win at Millbrook on Saturday.

The Wildcats scored four times in the first half.

Hakeem Morgan had two goals and two assists. Martin Machon distributed two assists and scored a goal. Marco Cerezo found the net, while Hector Samoya added an assist.


Avon Old Farms 55, Williston 27 — Eni Falayi had eight catches for 148 yards for the Wildcats. Junior Latham made three grabs for 69 yards and a score. Cal Messina ran for 84 yards and two touchdown, while Henri Bourque also rushed for a touchdown.

Holyoke’s Connor Cavanaugh made an interception. Eni Falayi, Jackson Strout and Leeds’ Dallas Elliott each had five tackles.

Girls soccer

Berkshire 1, Williston 0 — The Wildcats lost Saturday after allowing a goal with 40 seconds remaining.

Field hockey

Williston 2, Berkshire 0 — Bryn Saarela scored, and Maddie Cardaci converted a penalty stroke Saturday for the Wildcats. Lauren O’Donald made five saves.

Boys cross country

The Wildcats went 2-0 against Kingswood-Oxford and Westminster on Saturday. Junior Nat Markey won the individual race.

Girls cross country

Williston beat Kingswood-Oxford and Westminster. Abigail Touhey was first overall, while Anna Richardson took third and Chloe Prouty placed fourth.
