Weekend prep schools: Williston aces Millbrook

Kenny Wang (Amherst) and Nikhil Sierros (Northampton) won at first and second singles, respectively, as the Williston Northampton boys tennis team beat Millbrook, 5-2, on the road Saturday.

Singles players Nithish Raja (No. 4), Joey Nolte (No. 5) and Joey Robbins (No. 6) also won their matches for the Wildcats (3-0).

Girls lacrosse

Williston 13, Berkshire School 3 — Madison Fulcher-Melendy (Easthampton) led the Wildcats with four goals and three assists, while Fiona Bundy (three assists), of Easthampton, and Campbell Nyarady (two assists) each had three goals in the win, Saturday.

Shane Hecht made eight saves for Williston.

Boys lacrosse

Millbrook 7, Williston 6 — Mason Balch had three goals and two assists, but the Wildcats fell on the road Saturday.

Boys Golf

Avon 202, Williston 205, Loomis Chaffee 223 — Jake Durocher fired a 38 as the Wildcats (4-1) split at the Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley on Saturday.

Girls golf

Taft 4½, Williston ½; Westminster 3½, Williston 1½ — Emily Warren shot a 49 at Southampton Country Club for the Wildcats (1-4), Saturday.

Girls water polo

Deerfield 13, Williston 7 — Abbie Coscia had three goals and two assists, while Sabrina Shao added two goals, but the Wildcats fell Saturday.

Dylan Fulcher-Melendy (Easthampton) made 16 saves in defeat.
