After Granby’s Zach Gorham tied the game with 50 seconds left at the line, Ant Moynihan made all three of his free throws down the stretch for the Easthampton boys basketball team in a 50-47 win at home Wednesday.
Easthampton (7-6, 6-2 Bi-County) has won four straight, five of six and six of eight.
Moynihan made one of two free throws with four seconds left, and Zach Crisafulli stole the inbounds pass to seal the win.
Crisafulli finished with 23 points. Johnny Bara had nine points.
Gorham finished with 17 points for the Rams (8-6, 4-5). Joe Desormier added 10.
Franklin Tech 66, Smith Vocational 38 — Jayvon Cordova scored 11 points, and Drew Brida added 10, but the Vikings couldn’t contain Collin Gould in a home loss.
Gould scored 42 points for Franklin Tech.
The Vikings (2-11, 1-7 Tri-County) hit six 3-pointers in the game.
Hopkins Academy 71, Turners Falls 54 — Sam’i Roe scored 27 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out eight assists in a comeback win on the road.
The Golden Hawks (12-1, 10-0 Hampshire) trailed 34-24 at halftime but rallied for its fifth straight win.
Jon Morrison had a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. John Earle scored 12 points with two 3s.
Sabis 65, South Hadley 59 — Despite Calvin Bridges’ 22 points, the Tiger’s nine-point second quarter was the deciding factor, as the Tigers (7-7, 3-5) fell in Suburban League play.
McCann Tech 49, Gateway 47 — Shane Mastello (16 points) and Brett Turban (13 points) led a second-half comeback, but the Gators (2-8) fell on the road.
Mahar 45 Frontier Regional 36 — Myles Freeman and Keaton Warren each scored eight points in a road loss for the Red Hawks (3-11, 3-7 Hampshire).
Girls basketball Sci-Tech 45, Easthampton 25 — Lily Pioli scored 10 points, and Andie Hall added seven, but the Eagles (5-9) lost their eighth straight game.
