NORTHAMPTON – Gary Boucher and Jason Laprade, working with Renew Holiday Lights, of Hatfield, started early in the morning Monday – before the parking spaces along downtown streets were filled – and worked throughout the day hanging strings of holiday lights for the upcoming season. The lighting displays are coordinated by the Downtown Northampton Association with the help and support of the City of Northampton and are traditionally turned on for the first time on the long Thanksgiving weekend.
