Preps: Sarah Sullivan hits 1,000-point milestone for Williston

Sarah Sullivan surpassed 1,000 career points during a 13-point effort, but the Williston girls basketball team fell, 72-38, against Choate Rosemary Hall, Wednesday in Easthampton.

Christina Negron (Easthampton) added 12 points for Williston.

Boys hockey

Canterbury 4, Williston 2 — Jack Purcell (assist) and Tim Rego scored in the third period to cut the deficit in half, but the Wildcats fell at Lossone Rink.

Cam Mariani, James Belleavoine and Shaul Miton each had one assist. Kyler Breland made 20 saves.

Boys squash

Williston 7, Salisbury 0; Suffield 7, Williston 0 — Joey Robbins (No. 1), Granby’s Tyler Senecal (No. 2), Ethan Dursht (No. 3), Vishnu Sekar (No. 4), Florence’s Connor Touhey (No. 5), Florence’s Luke Po (No. 6) and Finlay MacDonald (No. 7) split their matches for the Wildcats in Suffield, Connecticut.

Girls squash

Williston 5, Albany 2 — Ruby McElhone-Yates (Easthampton) and Abby Schulkind (Amherst) won their first matches for the host Wildcats.
