HADLEY — After an extensive search Tuesday, police are continuing to search for a local man who has been reported missing.

Patrick Kroll, who lives on West Street, was reported missing by co-workers at Williamsburg Pharmacy and Hardware, according to Facebook posts by Hadley Police Lt. Mitchell Kuc. State police assisted with a helicopter search, but as of Tuesday evening his whereabouts remain unknown, according to Kuc’s post.

Police completed a door-to-door canvass of the area, attempted a track with a State Police dog, and completed an aerial search of the fields, woods, and river area, the post states.

Police also submitted Kroll’s name to the National Crime Information Center as missing, and contacted numerous hospitals, clinics, and doctor’s offices.

Kroll’s phone was found to be in his home.

In a subsequent post, the police department said Kroll’s vehicle is accounted for, and that they believe him to be on foot.

Reached by email Tuesday evening, Kuc said Kroll’s whereabouts have been unclear since Monday at noon, when he was last known to be at the Cinemark at the Hampshire Mall.

“His co-workers became concerned when he did not show for work, and his co-workers could not contact him, or locate him at home,” Kuc wrote.

Kuc said that police currently do not suspect foul play.

Hadley police are directing anyone with information to contact the police department at 413-584-0883.
