Lisa Papademetriou and Megan Zinn: NEF thanks community for another successful Trivia Bee

On March 13, the Northampton Education Foundation held our third annual online Trivia Bee — a super-buzzy community event for all ages. We had a blast showing off our useless knowledge, dancing in our living rooms, and holding our pets up to the camera — all to raise money for inspiring, innovative, and creative projects in our Northampton public schools!

With the community’s help, NEF raised over $5,000 for our Small Grants program, which will fund educational experiences conceived and executed by teachers in our community. Past grants have been awarded to teach a wide variety of innovative programs across all district schools, including 3D mapping of buildings using new software, art therapy for students with autism, and a college visit field trip for students from underrepresented communities.
