The Amherst Firefighters Local 1764 would like to express our endorsement for the following candidates in the coming Amherst Town Council election. Local 1764 has endorsed both Matt Holloway and Mandi Jo Hanneke for at-large, Ana Devlin Gauthier for District 5, and Pat DeAngelis for District 2.

We look forward to working with these candidates, who have been vocal in their support for your Amherst firefighters. These candidates have expressed that they are devoted to working with your Amherst firefighters to gain more staffing, much-needed equipment, and better working conditions. They have all committed to improving public safety in Amherst so that the firefighters can continue to provide the highest and most professional level of medical care and fire suppression/prevention.

The needs of the firefighters need to be a priority and they have all made their pledge to improving the safety of all Amherst residents and visitors. Your Amherst firefighters ask that you support these candidates on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
