I have had the pleasure of serving under Sarah Marshall for two years when she was the chair of Amherst’s Community Preservation Act Committee. Sarah came to every meeting incredibly well prepared and she was very thoughtful in how she led deliberations. She invited new ideas and she was not afraid to ask probing and challenging questions of officials and guests to ensure the committee was well informed.

With information in hand, she kept the committee focused on reaching consensus in order to complete our business. I was incredibly impressed by her efficiency in making of all of this happen. In our politically charged environment, I appreciate that Sarah knows that compromise is a path forward, not an admission of defeat. I strongly support Sarah Marshall for Amherst School Committee on Nov. 7.
