Many reasons toappreciate the Gazette

I am always happy to get the Daily Hampshire Gazette delivered.

I’m getting used to the two-section format. I was even expecting it to be two sections July 25, a Tuesday. It felt good to see the four sections.

And my payoff is the full page ads on the back. They reminded me of some things. My bank, Greenfield Savings, has two new, well placed ATMs in towns I frequent. Also, Manny’s has some great sales. I’ve got some old appliances and I prefer to shop locally and have been happy with Manny’s in the past. So now I have some information to ponder.

Sure, I get emails, I use the internet, but I am glad to see the full-page ads. And for me, they achieved their intended goal, I expect.

I’ve been lining my trash can with old newspapers instead of plastic, shredding them for vermiculture, covering the floors when needed, and then I recycle them. I do appreciate the Gazette.
