According to a report by officer Jacob Eugin, Justin T. Slysz, 24, was driving on River Road at 11:23 p.m., when Eugin witnessed his gray pickup truck crash into a guardrail. No injuries were reported and Slysz was able to get out of the vehicle on his own.

Slysz told police that he had fallen asleep at the wheel. He also stated that he had four beers around 5:30 p.m.

According to the report, Slysz’s eyes were bloodshot and he had a moderate odor of alcohol on his breath. Additionally, police found an open can of Bud Light beer in his truck, in addition to an 18-pack of the beer missing three cans, according to the report.
