Amherst

Kimberly Piontkowski was named to the spring semester dean’s list at Wheaton College in Norton. A member of the class of 2019, she is the daughter of Edward Piontkowski and Deborah Carroll.

Ethan Thayumanavan was named to the spring semester dean's list at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Thayumanavan is enrolled in the university's School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Roham Giahi was named to the second semester headmaster's list at Worcester Academy in Worcester.

Belchertown

Madison Couture has been named to the spring semester dean’s list at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. Couture is a member of the class of 2019 majoring in theater arts.

Opaul Morris graduated from Wheaton College in Norton with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is the daughter of Paul Morris and Terri Morris.

Easthampton

Caelin Mottor graduated from Our Lady of the Elms College in Chicopee with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. A 2014 graduate of Easthampton High School, she is the daughter of David and Nancy Mottor.

Kelly Boisjolie received two awards at American International College in Springfield — The Alpha Chi National College Honor Society Award for the highest academic achievement after three semesters, and the Outstanding Achievement in General Chemistry Award for excellence in this subject area. Boisjolie is a health science major.

Florence

Elena Frogameni, a journalism major at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., was awarded a Student Broadcaster Scholarship from The Massachusetts Broadcasters Association.

Bailey Aaron graduated from Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont.

Granby

Corey James Baker graduated from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York.

Hadley

Nathan T. Aldrich received a bachelor’s degree in environmental science (summa cum laude) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst on May 11. He was awarded the Linda G. Lockwood Environmental Science Scholarship from the department of environmental conservation in recognition of outstanding achievement and was named to the spring 2018 dean’s list. Aldrich graduated from Hopkins Academy in 2010. He is the son of Janna and Gerald Aldrich.

Carly Lewis graduated summa cum laude from Wheaton College in Norton with a bachelor’s degree in English. She is the daughter of Daniel Lewis and Carol Lewis. 

Northampton

Emma Narkewicz, daughter of David Narkewicz and Yelena Mikich, was named to first honors on the spring semester dean's list at Clark University in Worcester.

Leigh Schmitt graduated from Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont.

Sunderland

Rebecca Livingston was named to the spring semester dean’s list at Wheaton College in Norton. A member of the class of 2020, she is the daughter of Jeffrey Livingston and Alisa Braverman.

Colgate University

Students receiving the dean's award for academic excellence at the school in Hamilton, New York, include: 

Georgina von Furth, of Northampton,  a graduate of Northampton High School, member class of 2021, and economics major.

Owen Downie, of South Deerfield, a graduate of Deerfield Academy, member of the class of 2021, and astronomy/physics major.

Students receiving the  dean's award with distinction at Colgate include:

Kailey Tobin and Erin O’Connor, both graduates of Amherst Regional High School, members of the class of 2019, biology majors and Amherst residents.

Peter Stobierski, of South Deerfield, a graduate of Deerfield Academy, member of the class of 2018 and mathematical economics major.

Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science  

The following local students have been named to the spring semester Dean’s List at the college in Boston.

Amherst: Allison Lam, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical and health care business, class of 2018.

Belchertown: Angela Martoccia Grabazs, pursuing a doctor of pharmacy degree, class of 2022; Emily Kubacki, pursuing a doctor of pharmacy degree, class of 2019.

Easthampton: Andrew Dabek, pursuing a doctor of pharmacy degree, class of 2019.

Granby: Cassandra Chapdelaine, pursuing a doctor of pharmacy degree, class of 2019.
