EASTHAMPTON — The CVS on Northampton Street has temporarily closed its doors.

Tara Burke, a company spokesperson, has confirmed that the Easthampton location’s building had sustained damage as a result of a recent storm.

“For the safety of our colleagues, customers, and patients, we’ve temporarily closed our Easthampton location due to recent weather damage,” Burke said in a statement.

She encouraged customers who utilize the Easthampton CVS Pharmacy branch to visit another location in the area to fulfill their immediate prescription needs. People who need additional help should call 1-800-SHOP-CVS.

When asked about the extent of the damage to the building, Burke reiterated that it was “weather damage,” and that the store would reopen once the damage was repaired. She did not elaborate and said she had no further information on the store's conditions at this time.
