SOUTH HADLEY – On Friday, friends and neighbors of Loomis Village resident Kenneth Seyffer helped him celebrate his 100th birthday, which actually happened on Tuesday. In honor of her father’s centenary, his daughter Kathy Opdycke of Virginia spent the last six months creating a 1/24th scale replica of the Loomis Village farmhouse which she presented to the retirement community at the fete. Opdycke said it was bittersweet saying goodbye to her miniature creation – but will be glad to have her dining room table back again.
