NORTHAMPTON — A vehicle crashed — literally into — a parked landscaping trailer Wednesday morning, temporarily trapping the driver inside.
According to a post on the Northampton Police Department Facebook page, police responded to the crash at 7:17 a.m. in the area of 530 Spring St. Members of the Northampton Fire Department also responded.
Police say the SUV ended up inside the landscaping trailer. The trailer’s back had been open, and the vehicle had entered it, police said.
According to police, the woman driving the vehicle said her windshield had been foggy, obstructing her view. She also said that she was trapped but uninjured. A tow company pulled the vehicle from the trailer.
The woman was issued a citation for impeded operation and operating a vehicle with an expired registration, the post says.
