Gabby Walz, Ari Klekotka and the No. 2 Granby girls lacrosse team are title-game bound.
The Rams stars combined for 15 goals, lifting Granby to a convincing 20-8 victory over No. 3 Hoosac Valley in the Western Mass. Class C semifinals on Tuesday in Granby.
The Rams will play top-seeded Mount Greylock in the Class C finals, at a date and time to be determined. The Mounties won both regular season meetings between the two schools via 20-10 and 22-8 scores.
Walz thumped in eight goals and an assist, and Klekotka scored seven times for Granby (10-8). Ella Laliberte added a hat trick, while Kayla Klekotka and Kate Ouellette rounded out the scorers.
Northampton 14, South Hadley 0 – Sofia Ciaglo netted four goals and four assists for the second-seeded Blue Devils in a 14-0 WMass Class B semifinal victory Tuesday night in Northampton.
The game was called at halftime due to weather. Northampton will play No. 1 East Longmeadow in the championship game likely this weekend.
Ellie Mahoney notched a hat trick and an assist for Northampton, while Elloise Roberts also scored three times. Chloe Denhart (1G, 1A), Francesca Sloan (1G) and Theo Starr (2G) were other offensive contributors, and Riley Shea made four saves to pitch a shutout between the pipes.
Boys lacrosseWahconah 24, South Hadley 2 — Devin Lampron and the Warrior attack were too much for the Tigers on Tuesday in the Western Mass. Class B semifinals.
Lampron found the back of the net seven times while Caden Padelferd, Biely Oncele and Jonah Smith each tallied four goals to lead No. 1 Wahconah to a 24-2 victory.
Ryan Waitle and Owen Dawson had the two South Hadley goals while Sly Curto and Ethan Roy each dished an assist in the loss for the No. 4 Tigers.

Amherst 15, Hampshire 9 – Host Amherst stormed out to a 10-4 halftime lead en route to the victory on Tuesday.
The game was called with about four minutes remaining due to lightning.
Amherst’s Talia Sadiq paced the offense with four goals and two assists, while Claire Lindsay netted a hat trick. Other offensive contributors included Emily Ireland (2G), Esme Siegel (2G, 2A), Jenna Schilling (1G, 2A), Caitlin MacDougall (1G), Jill Crosby (1G) and Marianna Mendoza-Torres (1G). Cedar Conrad made 13 saves in the Hurricanes net.
Hampshire’s Skylar Duda and Mary Thibault netted three goals apiece. Goalie Abby Hennessy made four saves.
Boys volleyball seeds announcedIn the first-ever MIAA boys volleyball statewide tournament brackets released Tuesday, Holyoke earned the No. 15 seed in the Division 2 tournament.
The Purple Knights (16-2) will host No. 18 Bellingham in the Round of 32 at a time and place to be determined. Both received byes into the second round.
No. 17 Frontier Regional, a program in its first year of existence, also earned a preliminary round bye. The Redhawks (15-2) will travel to No. 16 Minnechaug (9-11) for the Round of 32.
