Mike Mieczkwoski drove in three runs on two hits and scored twice, as the Northampton Post 28 American Legion baseball team rediscovered its offensive stroke in a 15-8 win over Longmeadow on Wednesday.

Nick Heafey drove in two runs, while Andy Grygorcewicz, Dillon Diemand and Devin Kellogg (two hits, three runs) all had RBIs.

Jackson Heath scored three runs.

Post 28 (11-5) went up 7-0 after the first two innings and never looked back. Will O’Connor picked up the win in relief.

Pittsfield 10, Easthampton 6 — Post 224 left 11 runners on base in a road loss.

Cody Cavanaugh homered. Tim Fay drove in three runs.

Mike Baldwin singled twice with an RBI.

John Carey had an RBI single for Easthampton (7-9).

12u Suburban Softball

West Side 11, Frontier Red 10 — Ashley Taylor had two hits and three times in a tight home loss. Cassidi Mushenski had a big game for Frontier with two hits and three RBIs. Jessica Campbell had an RBI and two hits, one being a triple for Frontier.
