It was a successful week for the Northampton Suburban League girls basketball teams, as the 5th and 6th grade team, as well as the 7th and 8th grade teams went 2-1 in games against West Springfield, East Longmeadow and Wilbraham.

Grades 5 and 6

Northampton 41, West Springfield 11 (Jan. 18)

Top performers: Gina Van Stee (4 points, 1 rebound), Avery Hicks (2 points, 3 rebounds), Ella Sasser (7 points, 5 rebounds, 6 blocks), Quinn Spears (5 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals), Ella Dunphy (2 points, 8 rebounds), Naomi Durbin (3 points, 5 rebounds), Keira Cole (18 points, 11 assists, 9 steals).

Northampton 36, East Longmeadow 31 (Jan. 21)

Wilbraham 47, Northampton 33 (Jan. 22)
