Domino’s opens in Belchertown

BELCHERTOWN — A new Domino’s, located at 33 Main St., is now open.

The store features the pizza theater store design, which is open concept and allows customers to watch their pizza being made.

“We are so excited to have opened the very first Domino’s store in Belchertown,” said Keith Bell, Belchertown Domino’s franchise owner.

Domino’s in Belchertown offers carryout and delivery,. The store also features a pickup window for carryout customers who want a quick grab-and-go option after placing their order online or over the phone.

New partner, attorney join Fierst Bloomberg Ohm LLP

NORTHAMPTON — Mae Stiles has become a partner of the Northampton law firm Fierst Bloomberg Ohm LLP, effective last June. Additionally, Sadie A. Reynolds has joined the firm as a litigation associate.

A Northampton native who joined the firm in 2019, Stiles has over 15 years of experience and has worked for major New York and San Francisco law firms in complex commercial litigation, including antitrust and intellectual property matters, as well as a wide variety of business, corporate and licensing transactions. She returned to practice law in Northampton in 2017 and is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts, New York and California.

Reynolds joined the firm in June. Previously, she was the legal clinic director at the Hampden County Bar Association where she assisted pro se litigants in a variety of matters, including housing and civil litigation, represented parties in Western Division Housing Court, created and developed programs to assist the underserved in western Massachusetts and expanded access to justice and legal services. She is a trained mediator with experience assisting litigants in Springfield District Court, mediating small claim and summary process matters.

NORTHAMPTON — Lathrop Community has appointed Patrick Arguin as its new chief executive officer.

Arguin brings nearly 20 years of experience, starting his career as a physical therapist and then for many years as a nursing home administrator. He was most recently administrator for Mary’s Meadow at Providence Place in Holyoke, which provides short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing.

Under Arguin’s leadership, Mary’s Meadow achieved high-performing recognition in support categories, effective staffing, and best practices in resident safety. He was responsible for various aspects of the community, including managing staff, organizational finances and budgets, reporting to the board, and overall upholding the quality of service and attention to residents.

Arguin has a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and an Master of Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Arguin will officially join Lathrop on Nov. 27.

Siddiqui named new medical director at cancer center

NORTHAMPTON — Medical oncologist/hematologist Dr. Ahmad Daniyal (Dan) Siddiqui has joined the Mass General Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital as medical director of medical oncology.

Siddiqui comes to CDH from the Saint Vincent Cancer and Wellness Center in Worcester where he held the positions of medical director and chief, Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology. In addition, Siddiqui is an associate professor of medicine at the University of Massachusetts’ Chan Medical School in Worcester.

In his new role, Siddiqui will lead the center’s clinical care and operations, and will collaborate closely with physician colleagues at the Mass General Cancer Center in Boston.

Siddiqui treats a variety of cancers, including cancers of the skin, lung, breast, head and neck, gastrointestinal track, and prostate. He also treats benign and malignant cancers of the blood.

Siddiqui earned his medical degree from Nishtar Medical College in Multan, Pakistan and completed residencies at New York Medical College, Nishtar Hospital, and the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences. He completed his fellowship at the UMass Chan Medical School. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Medical Oncology and Hematology Oncology.

Clinical & Support Options named top workplace

NORTHAMPTON — Community behavioral health agency Clinical & Support Options was recently named a 2023 Top Workplaces in the Health Industry. The agency earned the Gold-level award based on the results of an independent survey conducted among CSO staff.

The staff survey included a broad range of questions, covering all aspects of employment from organizational culture and management practices to benefits packages and training opportunities.

The survey was sent via email to 561 CSO employees with 396 (70%) responding. Questions were asked to gauge employee sentiments in the areas of culture, compensation, flexibility, engagement, training, and more. Answers were then measured against industrywide averages compiled and analyzed over previous years.

Rewarding Insurance Agency opens in Holyoke

HOLYOKE — The Greater Holyoke Chamber recently welcomed Rewarding Insurance Agency to its new location at 284 Maple St.

Rewarding Insurance Agency was previously renting office space out of the Greater Holyoke Chamber, and over the past few years has grown and now has their own storefront, still in downtown Holyoke.

Having served the Massachusetts and Connecticut regions for over seven years, Rewarding Insurance, owned by Miguel and Lidia Rodríguez, has more than 1,000 satisfied clients. The Latino-owned firm offers auto, home, commercial, life and health insurance.
