In response to a recent letter about potholes in Northampton, I am of two minds. Last week I hit one so big that I thought I was going to fall through the earth and end up in China. That was very upsetting. But, on the other hand, to quote songwriter Leonard Cohen … “there's a crack, there's a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in.”
