I read with interest the recent article by Annie Karni and Steve Eder in which they quoted Speaker Mike Johnson saying in 2015 that Donald Trump was unfit and dangerous for the office of president. It’s about time that Democrats started talking about the positive deeds that President Joe Biden has accomplished. The other guy seems to get all the press. And the stakes are high. Age and health. It appears that many Democrats do not favor Biden, because of his age. First off, there are three years separating Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Three years. Trump has made many verbal gaffes, Biden also has done so, and I and every one of my friends have done the same.

What is important is that you are an intelligent person with a curiosity to learn and understand. Also, in terms of health, we should ask ourselves, who is healthier? The jury is out on that one. Speaking of juries, President Biden is not facing multiple juries and judges for a number of possibly illegal acts. Instead, President Biden spends time defending our democracy and getting things done to help people, especially people in need of help. Among the accomplishments of our president are rebuilding the infrastructure; changing the course of the pandemic; fostering more diversity in the courts; protecting reproductive rights; and creating a substantive climate agenda.

So, Democrats and undecided voters, it is time to study up on why Joe Biden would be the best president for this nation, continuing the valuable work that he and Kamala Harris have done since the 2020 election. And spread the word!
