I would like to thank the Gazette for publishing the article on May 27, “Learning to safe a life.” According to the American Heart Association, approximately 350,000 people suffer from cardiac arrest each year and 90% are fatal. Here at Safe and Healthy Education, we are proudly celebrating our 10-year anniversary in providing high quality First Aid/CPR/AED, and Choke Safety training to all populations, including all healthcare providers. Being prepared in the event of a cardiac arrest is essential to the victim's survival.
