How is it that that a bill called “Tax Relief Act” will eliminate the tax cap that requires surpluses from taxation to be returned to the people?  It seems the intent of the Legislature is to relieve the hard-working taxpayers of their money.  Maybe our Legislature thinks that funds in our checking accounts are too heavy a burden for us to bear.
