Holyoke seeks proposals for 3 vacant properties

HOLYOKE — The city of Holyoke is requesting proposals for the purchase and redevelopment of the following properties: 736 Dwight St., 107 Clemente St. and 267 Elm St.

The 736 Dwight St. and Dwight Street Parcel are vacant land lots with a combined 10,019 square feet of land. The properties are zoned limited business. The city is seeking proposals for a mixed-use development that includes new housing and first floor commercial space. All proposals should demonstrate and include a commitment to improve and maintain the property, at all times before, during and after construction, for the betterment of the neighborhood.

107 Clemente St. consists of 6,534 square feet of vacant land. The property is zoned downtown residential. The city is hoping for proposals that include new housing development or to expand an abutting property and a commitment to improve and maintain the property for the betterment of the neighborhood. Alternative uses to achieve this goal will be given consideration.

267 Elm St. consists of vacant land approximately 5,662 square feet in size. The property is zoned downtown residential. The city wants to attract proposals that include new housing development or to expand an abutting property and a commitment to improve and maintain the property for the betterment of the neighborhood. Alternative uses to achieve this goal will be given consideration.

Proposals must include details of the future use for the property and how it will benefit the neighborhood and the city.
