AMHERST - W. Michael Bresnahan, 73, of Northampton, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, in Hospice of the Fisher Home in Amherst.

He was born June 28, 1938, in Holyoke, the son of the late John and Marcella Pariseau Bresnahan.

She was born in New Brunswick, Canada, to the late Joseph and Amelia (Therault) Leblanc.

Terry was a 1949 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada.

NORTHAMPTON - Russell C. Weeks, 79, of 6 Wright Ave., passed away Jan. 30, 2012, at the Overlook at Northampton.

Born June 4, 1932, in Northampton, Russell was the son of the late Glenn and Ethel (Morrell) Weeks. He was educated in local schools and was a graduate of Northampton High School. He later graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - Margaret Mary Hofmann, 84, died on Dec. 27, 2011, in San Rafael, Calif., where she had lived for the past 46 years.

Peg was the daughter of the late Amelia (Millie) and Louis Rogers and grew up in Florence. She graduated from St. Michael's High School and the Cooley Dickinson Hospital School of Nursing, after which she joined the U.S. Air Force.

AMHERST - Pearl was born Nov. 27, 1913. She passed peacefully without prolonged illness under the care of the Amherst Center for Extended Care on the evening of Monday, Jan. 30, 2012.

She is survived by her grandson, Michael T. Levy of Northampton, now residing in Boulder, Colo.
