Sean Nyhan, from left, Matthew Grallert and Brian Gilman make an igloo Sunday on the lawn of the Hampshire County Courthouse. They were among a group of people from Berkshire Trail Elementary School in Cummington. Gilman, who is a fourth grade teacher at the school, said that each year the children make an igloo, but this year they wanted to dedicate it to Donna Jordan, a paraprofessional at the school who is battling cancer, and to her son, Joshua, who died of the disease. Gilman said he hopes it will be used by WRSI 93.9 The River host Monte Belmonte, during his ninth Cancer Connection Campout, an annual fundraiser that begins Wednesday on the courthouse lawn.
