Be a volunteer for First Night 2010
Celebrate the new year and participate in a wonderful community event at the same time! First Night is Northampton's biggest party of the year and the most important annual fundraiser for the Northampton Center for the Arts. We need your help to make it happen.
What's involved? It's a commitment for several hours on Thursday December 31, 2009. You will be asked to volunteer for one of three shifts: 1:00 to 5:00pm or 4:30 to 8:30pm (including a break for the fireworks) or 8:00 to 11:30pm.
We are also seeking experienced site managers and volunteers with the flexibility to begin at 11:30am and work at the Academy of Music, the Center for the Arts, or the Smith College venues at Theatre 14 and Sage Hall. If interested, please indicate in the preference area of form below. Your hours of commitment will be adjusted accordingly.
During your shift, you will be assigned to work at one of the performance venues located throughout downtown. When you're not on duty, you can take in the entertainment with your complimentary First Night button or enjoy the warmth and hospitality of our private volunteer headquarters at TD Bank on Main Street.
