Wedding: Kate Marantz & Phil Cicarelli

Kate Marantz and Phil Ciccarelli, both of Amherst, were married Aug. 27 in the Lord Jeffery Inn in Amherst, by Dan Cutler, a friend of the couple.

The matron of honor was Nell Marantz, and the bridesmaids were Eve Ackil, Mae Agna, Regina Sequieria, Katie Siegel and Jessica Ouellette.

The best man was Aaron Lipman, and the groomsmen were Dan Stepchew, Keith Kirley, Geoff Kravitz, Tony Neverson and Scott Rathbun.

The flower girls were Esme Smith-Marantz and Lila Mae Ackil, and the ring bearer was Jack Rathbun.

The bride is the daughter of Gwen Agna and Tom Marantz of Northampton. She is a donor relations officer for Amherst College, Amherst. She is a 2002 graduate of Northampton High School, a 2006 graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, and a 2017 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a doctorate in English.

The groom is the son of Rose and John Ciccarelli of Amherst. He is an attorney with Rathbun and Ciccarelli in Amherst. He is a graduate of Amherst Regional High School, the University of Massachusetts Boston, and the University of San Diego Law School, San Diego, California.

A reception was held at Lord Jeffery Inn, and the couple plans a wedding trip in January.
