EXPLORING COLLAGE — Monday and Jan. 30, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Use collage to create a still life, landscape or abstract design, and to make paper to draw on. Call Carolyn Bruneau, 527-0579 with ideas, needs, questions and requests. Classes are $10 each payable to the instructor.
WINE & CANVAS FUNDRAISER — The Friends of the Amherst Senior Center will hold a “Wine and Canvas” fundraiser at the Hampshire Mall (near Joanne’s Fabrics) Jan. 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. The artist gives step-by-step instructions. SECOND HAND SHOP – Needs donations of clean adult clothing, jewelry, shoes, and small household items. The shop is open every Friday from 9 am to noon. Donations can be left anytime Monday through Friday at the senior center office.

SOOTHING STRETCH – Led by Alicia Morton Fridays through March 24, 3 to 4 p.m. Mats are provided or bring your own for this free gentle exercise class which focuses on full body stretches and all-important abdominal strengthening.

BLOOD DRIVE — Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In conjunction with the American Red Cross, The Belchertown Police Department, TRIAD and the Council on Aging. Donors will receive a Dunkin Donut gift card and TRIAD will be offering hot dogs and beverages to all participants.
VALENTINES FELTING CLASS – Feb. 6, 10 a.m. Join instructor Sarah Madison and create a Valentines piece of art. Learn the basic steps of felting and have a new piece of heart jewelry to wear throughout the month. Bring a heart shaped cookie cutter — all other supplies will be provided. Call Susan to sign up.
