SOUTH HADLEY — Police are investigating two recent incidents of suspicious activity by men approaching students going to their bus stops.

The first incident occurred on Tuesday when a man in a  dark-colored SUV asked a female student if she wanted a ride, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page. The student was on her way to a school bus stop on Granby Road.

The post also says that on Thursday, in the area of Hartford and Spring streets, another female student said she saw a red pickup truck driven by a white man in his 50s or 60s appear to follow her. While no direct contact was made, police say the student found his actions to be “unnerving.”

Both incidents are being investigated, and those with information are encouraged to call 413-538-8231.
