HOLYOKE — A second suspect in a daytime shooting in which a pregnant woman on a passing bus was hit, causing the death of her infant, was ordered held without bail at his arraignment Friday.
Johnluis Sanchez, 30, of Holyoke, was arraigned by Zoom in Holyoke District Court for his suspected involvement in Wednesday’s shooting, the Hampden district attorney’s office reported.
His bail was revoked on an open firearms case out of Holyoke District Court, and he was held without the right to bail on a charge of murder. Other charges are expected to follow. His next scheduled court date is Nov. 3.
Alejandro Ramos, 22, of Holyoke, was also held without bail following his arraignment Thursday in Holyoke District Court on a charge of murder for his suspected involvement in the shooting.

The woman on the bus, who was not named, was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Medical personnel were unable to save the life of her infant.
