HADLEY – Juniors at the Hartsbrook School spent Wednesday separating, or pricking out, clusters of heirloom Brandywine and Matt’s Wild tomato seedlings to transplant into individual containers and grow for the Hartsbrook Harvest Shares CSA. According to Land Stewardship Director Nicki Robb, last year the school doubled its planted acreage to help with food security in the region and donates much of its crop to Abundance Farm, in Northampton, and Gardening the Community, in Springfield.
