Griffin Smiarowski and Cody Gaida combined to toss a two-hitter for the Northampton Post 28 Senior Legion team on Friday, helping lift it to a 14-1 six-inning victory over Ludlow Post 52 in its season-opener in Ludlow.
Dom Badorini knocked a double and scored three runs in the victory.
It was the first game back for Post 28, which didn’t field a Senior Division team in 2022.
