The Calvin Coolidge Presidential Library and Museum at Forbes Library is in the process of videotaping memories of Calvin and Grace Coolidge in Northampton. We are particularly interested in talking with senior citizens who had firsthand experiences and those who grew up in homes in which vivid family stories about the Coolidges were passed down. We seek to collect short tales of 2-4 minutes in length. Participants must agree to be videotaped and sign a waiver that allows the library to use the information. This is part of an ongoing project to re-imagine the museum and its public education outreach. We anticipate using some in displays in the museum and placing others on our website for the use of the public, students, and researchers. If you have a memory or family story of Calvin, Grace, or both please contact us via email at Coolidge@forbeslibrary.org.
