The Gazette’s recent article trivializes the concerns of Bay State Village residents response to the predatory development of this community. (“Development plans trouble neighbors,” Feb. 16)
My understanding and support for the “infill” policies were to allow some secondary structures on existing properties to increase availability and affordability. There are new houses and apartments that have been built in accordance with these values over these last years.
What Nu-Way Homes development is doing amounts to classic gentrification. I would characterize many of our responses as “angry” more than “weary.”
