NEW YORK — The latest woman to testify against disgraced film tycoon Harvey Weinstein broke into tears Monday as she explicitly described for a Manhattan jury how he sexually assaulted her in his SoHo loft in 2006 and pressured her into unwanted sex two weeks later in a Tribeca hotel room.

Despite her desperate pleas and futile attempts to fight him off, Mimi Haleyi testified, Weinstein easily overpowered her, pinning her down against her will before he pulled out her tampon and forcibly performed oral sex on her.

“Every time I tried to get off the bed he would push me back and hold me down,” Haleyi said. “He pushed me down, he held me down, he held me by my arms. I said, ‘No, no.’ And at that point, I started realizing what was actually happening: I’m being raped.”

A week later, Haleyi said she endured a second harrowing incident when at Weinstein’s behest, she met him in his room at the Mercer Hotel in Tribeca.

“I was trying to make sense of what had happened, why it had happened,” Haleyi said. “I wasn’t sure how to handle it.”

Haleyi said a predatory Weinstein began to corner her again “almost instantly.”

“He took my hand and pulled me toward the bed,” Haleyi said. “I felt like an idiot for having believed whatever he was saying ... Physically, I just lay there ... he had intercourse with me.”

Weinstein, Haleyi testified, further degraded her by calling her names while he violated her.

“He said something like, ‘you’re a whore and a bitch,’” Haleyi said. “He thought that like somehow turned me on.”

Prosecutors have accused the fallen movie mogul of raping and sexually assaulting multiple young women, including Haleyi, over the course of decades.

More than 90 women have come forward alleging Weinstein raped, sexually assaulted and sexually harassed them.

Last week, “Sopranos” actress Annabella Sciorra gave riveting testimony of how Weinstein allegedly barged into her Manhattan apartment and sexually assaulted her after they met for dinner in the winter of 1993-94.

Haleyi, 42, was introduced to Weinstein in 2004 at the European premiere of the movie “The Aviator” and later worked as a production assistant on “Project Runway” in New York City.

She changed the spelling of her last name from “Haleyii” to “Haleyi” shortly after she went public with her allegations against Weinstein.

Haleyi said she initially feared speaking up about the assault as she had illegally worked on the show while staying in the U.S. on a tourist visa.

“Also, obviously Mr. Weinstein has a lot more power and resources and connections and so forth,” she said. “I didn’t think I really stood a chance.”

Weinstein’s attorneys tried to dismiss her account of events, sharing a text message they said suggests she wanted to keep seeing him and the sexual encounters were consensual.

Weinstein faces a maximum of life in prison if convicted on the top charge of predatory sexual assault.
