HADLEY — Residents will get to offer well wishes to retiring state Rep. John Scibak at a farewell potluck Friday.

The luncheon for Scibak, a Democrat representing the 2nd Hampshire District since 2003, begins at noon at the Senior Center on Middle Street.

Jane Nevinsmith, a volunteer at the center, said people are encouraged to bring a favorite dish to share.

The event will also feature a brief presentation to Scibak to honor him for his work.
