The Frontier boys soccer team clinched at least a share of the Moriarty League title on Friday in Whately. 

Hosting Southwick at Herlihy Park, the Redhawks scored three goals in the first half to cruise to a 4-0 victory. Frontier closed out its league slate with a 10-1-1 record, and with South Hadley sitting at 9-1-1 with one league game remaining next Thursday against Easthampton, the Redhawks can finish no worse than in a tie for the league championship. 

Max Millette opened the scoring off an assist from Gus Radner before Ian Paciorek scored an unassisted goal. Radner closed out the first half with a free kick goal from just outside the box to give Frontier its 3-0 halftime lead. 

Henry Pleasant closed out the scoring in the second half off an assist from eighth grader Mickey Brownlow. 

Amherst 8, Westfield 0 — Daniel Nunez Saravia, David Teixeria and Abdi Byl Bran each scored twice as the Hurricanes rolled to a win over the Bombers Friday. 

Jonah Eggemeier and Henry Lepak also scored for Amherst. 

Pioneer 1, Hopkins 0 — Panther Gavin Gammell scored on a penalty kick in the first half to knock off the Golden Hawks on Friday in Northfield. 

Granby 3, Sci-Tech 1 — Riley Goodhind, Gavin Moreno and Cody White scored in the first half to propel the Rams to a victory Friday. 

Goodhind and Anthony Santiago had the assists while Daniel Santiago made three saves in the win. 

Smith Voc 2, PVCICS 1 — Cameron Ball and Carlos Ramirez found the back of the net off assists from Jonathan Peters and Jacob Maloney for the Vikings in a win over the Dragons Friday. 

Teddy Scott scored off an assist from Rafi Razmi for PVCICS. 

Girls soccer

Chicopee Comp 3, Amherst 3 — Madeline Hockman scored twice and dished an assist while Beatrice Eggemeier scored an added an assist in the Hurricanes’ tie with the Colts Friday. 

Moriah Luetjen had an assist for Amherst. 

Northampton 1, Belchertown 1 — Fallon Clancy scored in the first half for the Orioles but Allie Sullivan tallied in the second half for the Blue Devils, leading to a 1-1 tie on Friday. 

Morghan Litz had the assist for Belchertown while Lilah Sage had the assist for Northampton. Oriole Jill Debarge made three saves while Blue Devil Anna Oravec made seven saves. 

Hampshire 1, Southwick 1 — Libby Puttick scored for the Raiders in a 1-1 tie with the Rams on Friday. 

Karaghan Rogalski made seven saves for Hampshire. 

Girls volleyball

South Hadley 3, Commerce 0 — The Tigers are the Metro League champions, defeating Commerce 25-20, 25-22, 25-23 Friday. 

Milana Stefoglo had three kills and 18 assists, Grace Matyszewski put down six kills and made 15 digs and four aces, Ella Schaffer tallied 12 kills and two aces while Vivian Marion had two kills, five digs and two aces in the win. 

Commerce 3, Smith Vocational 0 — Roma Bentrewicz dished 12 assists while Irelyn Marcoux had one ace, four digs and five kills in the Vikings’ 25-14, 25-11, 25-18 loss Friday. 

Leah Franklin (three blocks, three kills) and Kaleah Gamache (two digs, three kills) played well for Smith Vocational. 

Lenox 3, Belchertown 0 — Vivian Ross had two kills, 20 assists and 14 digs in the Orioles’ 25-23, 25-19, 25-22 loss to the Millionaires on Friday in Lenox. 

Layla Liminski (11 kills, 11 digs), Gianna Picardi (nine kills, 10 digs) and Kaiya Cavanaugh (25 digs) played well for Belchertown.

Field hockey

Belchertown 3, Amherst 0 — Gianna Zenon, Jocelyn McMahon and Kian Roy were the goal scorers in a clean win for the Orioles on Thursday evening.

Kina Roy dished out two assists and Zenon added one for Belchertown. Edan Polak made 10 saves for the ‘Canes.

Girls volleyball

Frontier 3, Minnechaug 2 — The Redhawks watched their 2-0 lead vanish quickly as the Falcons easily won sets three and four, but Frontier buckled down and dominated the rubber set en route to a win on Thursday.

Set scores were 25-22, 25-14, 16-25, 13-25, 15-8.

Abigail Hernandez’s 17 kills led the way offensively while Sophia Pinardi (eight kills) , Olivia Machon (five kills, three aces) and Emilie Candaleria (eight aces) chipped in as well. Parrish Stilla dished out 38 assists while Hannah Davis dug up a team-high 17 balls for Frontier.

Frontier 5, Palmer 2 — Jazzy Hayes recorded a hat trick and added an assi  st, helping propel the Redhawks to a victory over the Panthers in South Deerfield Thursday. 

Maddie Fagan scored a pair of goals and added an assist while Josie Fosnot, Carly Robertson and Skyler Steele each provided an assist for Frontier. Aylen Shaw made 11 saves in  the win.
