UMass will try to win its 11 straight Atlantic 10 women’s lacrosse title against the team that’s stood in the way in most of those seasons.

The Minutewomen’s 19-11 win over Davidson in the semifinal set up their eighth championship game against Richmond. The teams will play Sunday at noon at Richmond.

Hannah Burnett (three assists) and Kiley Anderson (one assist) led UMass with four goals each.

Holly Turner chipped in three goals and two assists, while Ally Murphy registered two goals. Lauren Hiller played a majority of the contest, turning aside four shots through over 52 minutes.

Softball

Amherst College 9, Bates 0 (5) – The Mammoths (27-5) picked up their fourth consecutive win.

Audrey Hansen went 3-for-3 to lead Amherst, plating two runs and contributing a team-high four RBI.

Ronnie Marie Falasco and Alyson Plaman both went 2-for-3 with two RBIs each. Lorena Ukanawa took the win after striking out eight and allowing just two hits through four innings.
