Northampton, MA – Norman “Norm” M. Moggio Jr., 81, of Northampton, formally of Westhampton, passed away on Saturday March 25, 2026, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. He was born in Hamilton, Bermuda on September 6, 1944, to the late Norman and Edna (Coad) Moggio Sr.
Norm attended schools in Northampton and graduated from Northampton High School. He later became a self-employed carpenter, known for his exceptional skills. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Northampton and American Legion Post 28.
He is survived by a son David Moggio of Southampton, daughter, Terrianne Moggio, sister, Naia McPhee and her husband David of Dunedin, FL, 6 grandchildren, nieces and nephews Jennifer, Michael, Allison, and Joe Skwisz, and sister-in-law, Libby Baird all of Hadley.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Elaine (Wood) Moggio.
Burial will be on Thursday June 4, 2026, at 12 PM at Spring Grove Cemetery in Florence. DROZDAL FUNERAL HOME OF NORTHAMPTON has been entrusted with his arrangements.
