WILLIAMSBURG, MA – Joyce Elaine Culver, 78 a native of Williamsburg, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026, after a long illness. Joyce was the daughter of Richard J. Culver and Harriet (Tower) Culver and was born December 22, 1947, in Northampton. She graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1966 and worked many years at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Joyce will be remembered for her exceptional skills with ceramics and other crafts. Joyce was pre-deceased by her parents; a sister Sylvia Duncan (Judson); and a brother Russell (Marilyn). Joyce is survived by her sister Irene Dufresne (John) of Williamsburg; brother Jim Culver of North Berwick, ME; brother Jerry Culver (Patricia) of Portsmouth, RI; her sister Janice Culver-Gomez (Julio) of Naples, FL and several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. A private burial will be held in Williamsburg in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
