Kelly Curtis, a 2012 Springfield College graduate, was selected to represent Team USA at the upcoming 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan-Cortina, Italy, earlier this week as part of the U.S. Olympic women’s skeleton team.

Curtis took part in the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing and becomes the first Springfield College alum to compete in multiple Olympic Winter Games.

Curtis is the top-ranked America athlete in the  International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation’s 2025-26 Olympic qualification standings. Curtis earned a silver medal at the Women’s Skeleton World Cup in St. Moritz, Switzerland, on January 9.

The skeleton competition is set to begin on Friday, Feb. 13 at 10 a.m.
