Sunderland, MA – Esther Rocasah, 81, of Sunderland, Massachusetts passed away on December 7, 2025 at Hospice of The Fisher Home with her family by her side.
Esther grew up in Leverett on her family’s farm and attended Amherst High School.
She is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Philip Rocasah. Esther was a homemaker for many years enjoying sewing and upholstery.
She later worked in food services at Deerfield Academy for over 30 years where she was appreciated for her hard work ethic.
She leaves behind her son Philip Rocasah of Leverett and his partner Mistelle Hannah. Her daughter Theresa Dion of Leverett and her husband, Danny Dion.
Esther enjoyed spending time poolside with her grandchildren, Mitchell Rocasah, Shelby Rudek, Thomas Dion and Jameson Dion.
Esther’s family would like to thank the staff at The Fisher House in Amherst for the outstanding care.
Per Esther’s request, there will be no services.
