AMHERST — Before switching to punter full time in the fall, Logan Laurent had one last hurrah as the UMass football team’s placekicker. The redshirt freshman’s 31-yard field goal as time expired gave Team UMass a 13-10 win over Team Minutemen in the annual spring game Friday night at McGuirk Stadium. Laurent was recruited as a punter and he’ll likely be the starter at that position in the fall. But he filled in on extra points and field goals last year after starter Blake Lucas struggled. Incoming freshman Michael Caggiano is expected to handle those next year, but he isn’t on campus yet. With Lucas …
