UMass women’s basketball team falls to Bowling Green

The University of Massachusetts women’s basketball team fell 64-61 to Bowling Green Wednesday at the Mullins Center.

Senior center Jasmine Watson had 21 points, while freshman point guard had eight points, 11 assists and four rebounds in her first collegiate start.

Sophomore guard Emily Mital and redshirt sophomore Millie Niggeling (six rebounds, four assists) each had eight points. Freshman guard Rashida Timbilla added eight rebounds and seven points.

UMass (2-9) plays at Northeastern at 2 p.m. Saturday. The University of Massachusetts women’s basketball team fell 64-61 to Bowling Green Wednesday at the Mullins Center.
