Amanda Fuller: Gazette should skip celebrity non-news stories
To the editor:
We live in a world where we are bombarded with celebrity gossip splashed upon the front pages of magazines, newspapers, television and online. Thus I was surprised to see the article on Reese Witherspoon in the Gazette.
I read the newspaper to learn about events that are important. I recognize that Witherspoon and her husband could have caused an accident on the road, but there are more critical events going on locally, nationally and internationally. The Gazette should report on more relevant issues and leave the celebrity updates to the tabloids.
