Wolf Krakowski: Trip to Venezuela opens one man’s eyes
To the editor:
I would like to add a few words to Phil Crafts’ letter (April 8).
On a recent visit to Venezuela, I observed: New government housing consisting of modest, attractive and private stand-alone little “villas.” The absence of beggars or homeless people.
I learned: Medical school is free and gasoline is not 12 cents a litre or even 12 cents a gallon; it costs 12 cents (more or less) to fill up your tank.
Those socialist devils!
