Brown-Warren race outcome has meaning for entire country
To the editor:
The author of a letter to the editor Sept. 12 claims Elizabeth Warren’s bold style may not be suitable for Washington. Bold is good! Outspoken is good, especially when you are bold and outspoken on issues that are vital to the American people: fairly sharing the tax burden, supporting education through college, promoting energy policies that protect the public health while creating new jobs, supporting environmental regulations that protect our water and air and keep toxins like mercury away from our kids.
Styles may differ but this election isn’t about style; it’s about policies! Check out the policies and platform of the Republican Party. Though Scott Brown calls himself a moderate, his party is not and the extreme agenda of the Republican Party will be what is in store if they take the Senate. This election concerns more than Massachusetts. It will affect the whole country.
